1. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full by return of goods & services unless otherwise agreed in writing. All prices are shown in GBP (£).
2. Late Payment
If payment is not received by the due date, SJG Maintenance reserves the right to:
• Charge statutory interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (currently 8% above the Bank of England base rate), and
• Apply reasonable administration and recovery costs.
3. Suspension of Works
SJG Maintenance reserves the right to suspend or withhold further work or services until outstanding balances are paid in full.
4. Ownership of Materials
All materials supplied remain the property of SJG Maintenance until payment has been received in full.
5. Disputes
Any queries or disputes regarding an invoice must be raised in writing within 3 days of the invoice date. Failure to do so will be deemed acceptance of the invoice.
6. Non-Payment & Legal Action
If payment remains outstanding after reasonable reminders, SJG Maintenance reserves the right to:
• Instruct a debt recovery agency, and/or
• Commence legal proceedings to recover the outstanding amount.
All associated costs, including legal fees and recovery charges, will be added to the outstanding balance where permitted by law.
7. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
